Firefox gets more secure

Mozilla have released security updates to their primary software offerings namely Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey.

The open Source developers is expected to start pushing Firefox 2.0.0.1 through its update servers and also make the download available from the main Firefox website.

Firefox 3.0 Developer Release Shipped

An early test version of the new version of the browser, Firefox 3.0, was unveiled this week to developers under the codename Gran Paradiso.

This is only an early alpha release. Firefox 3.0 is still far from complete, but some very important milestone improvements were just checked in and so they want developers to start testing those new additions for bugs. Firefox 3.0 won’t be finished for at least a few more months.

Firefox browser continues to grow in Europe

According to French firm Xiti Monitor, use of the Firefox browser continues to grow in Europe. The browser is now used by some 23.2 per cent of European PC web surfers - up from 19.4% in April.

Slovenia loves the Fox, where over 40 per cent of surfers use the browser. Next is Finland - 39,3 per cent and Poland - 33,6 per cent.

Change IE on Firefox in Outlook Express
