Firefox Nears 30 Percent Market Share in Europe
Mozilla’s Firefox browser enjoys a market share in Europe nearly 50 percent higher than in the U.S.

Europe is a fortress for Mozilla Corp.’s Firefox browser, which enjoys a market share nearly 50 percent higher than in the U.S., a French Web-measuring company reported Monday.

According to July data from XiTiMonitor, Firefox accounted for 27.8 percent of browsers used in Europe, an increase of 3.6 percentage points from the March measurement.
