Mozilla Fixes ‘Hundreds’ of Firefox Memory Leaks
Firefox Version 3 Beta 4 is now out for testing, and this item from the release notes jumps out:
Memory usage: Several new technologies work together to reduce the amount of memory used by Firefox 3 Beta 4 over a web browsing session. Mozila Firefox 2.0.0.12 released
With Mozilla more focused than ever on pushing Firefox 3, the guys from Mozilla hurried up and fixed a couple of critical issues in 2.0.0.11. They have finally corrected the problem with “Crashes with evidence of memory corruption” and few other annoying problems.
